These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mush (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect information about other users without permission.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (events, gear lists, descriptions, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Our Content

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and text (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google OAuth and Trailforks. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. Mush is not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content, including event details, location information, or rider availability. Always verify plans directly with your group before heading out.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
